Kelly Zielinski MS OTR/L graduated from Elizabethtown College with her Bachelor of Science in Health and Occupation, and her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She has prior experience in settings including pediatric outpatient clinics and pediatric hospital-based systems. She completed an additional internship at a community based emergency shelter and transitional housing setting, where she worked with women and children to address life skills and family dynamics. Kelly believes it is of great importance to make each therapy session engaging and creative for the child, while incorporating supportive family education and open communication. She strives to create close relationships with each child and family, and use a holistic approach to address the needs of each family.
Kelly completed her Master Degree research on the interoception sensory system, and had the opportunity to present the research with her team at the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association's annual conference. She strives to address this foundational sensory system in treatments, and works to continuously further her learning in this developing area of research.
Kelly trained in dance from a young age, and in college completed an independent research project focusing on making dance classes inclusive for individuals with all abilities.
Kelly is originally from southeastern Pennsylvania and currently resides in Baltimore. She is excited to be a part of the TeeKoz Kids team!
